You have to throw in running situations, for Christ sake. You can't run EVERY first down.

I disagree. Howard is by far the best offensive player on the team. He should touch it every first down and most second downs.

Good call.

You're a "outcomes don't matter" guy. Now you're not? That ball is swatted down or picked off 9 times out of 10.

No doubt he is. But doesn't that make it even more important to throw in a pass or play action pass at times? Teams are so geared up for him, they open themselves up.

Well, obviously they should pass the ball occasionally. But Howard is so good that opposing teams stacking the box doesn't really matter.

The only reason it worked is because it was first down.

Nah. The truly great ones can pull them off. It's a good sign that he's confident enough to launch them. Not playing the position like a pussy is a big part of being great.

There's several reasons it worked. The biggest one is luck - the ball bouncing in the perfect spot after a defender hit it.

I’d rather had Brady ball security vs your namesake.

I don't believe in luck.

Brady throws across his body often. Especially when they need a big play.

We'll never forget game 1 of Mitchapalooza.

Whitehair seems to have trouble snapping the ball.

These teams are having trouble executing a legal block.

As if the flags aren’t enough, these Vikings with yellow shoes and gloves are making it worse.
