Hes got 12 tds and hes gotten better every week.
You didn't talk about his offense in the original post. You said he can stand in the pocket, and that he isn't turning the ball over (which is wrong).

You all were sucking each others dicks over the Cutler trade too.

Cutler has nothing to do with Watson throwing interceptions. You said he doesn't do that. You were wrong. Again. Own it and move on.

Odd thing I noticed and maybe Im wrong, but it seemed like Mitch was running way too far back on hand offs.

Like giving the RB the ball 6 yards behind scrimmage instead of 3.

He takes the snap and sprints to hand it off. Feels like most qbs have a trot/jog for that.

For some perspective, he was probably outplayed by Case Keenum, who is not a world beater and didn't have much to work with either.

Keenum was playing against 5th string LB's. Bear injuries are unreal.

Keenum has been around for a few years as a backup, and has started at least 20 NFL games I would say. Not quite apples to apples here.

You have a point there. Gruden kept mentioning that the Bears likely had no one left to call plays on defense...I thought the Vikings would exploit that a bit more.

I mentioned that earlier in this thread. It was odd. I think they were doing that to allow their backs to set up blocks and make cuts. Not a great long term strategy as the defenses are too fast.

There was one play where it seemed Howard was almost as deep as a punter before the snap.

Sitting on the bench and watching for 5 weeks is an advantage over starting week one imo.

If Keenum started it would have been a semi blowout.

And if the officials didn't have money on the Vikings, the BELOVED would've won by 10!

Tbh, I didn't watch. 2:30 AM start was too much, not doing permanent damage to my sleep schedule to watch the fucking Bears.

Good completion percentage and great average yards per attempt.

57% is not a good completion percentage.

Hard to tell anything from this game. The handful of times he does get enough time to throw I do feel like he holds on to the ball too long tho. This can be corrected over time of course, but still. He does seem a little lost out there at times too. I think all the talent is there in him, but he does need work.

There also needs to be a lot on the coaching end and the talent around him. It's been hard to differentiate where one ends and the other begins this year. What I mean is, does DL call certain basic plays over and over again because he doesn't trust Mitch, the talent around him, or is DL just that limited as a play caller? We did see a lot of head scratching play calling last year from him so it's hard not to put at least some of it on him.

I mean I'm not sure what you can tell about a QB who's only allowed to throw 7 times.
