I'm not sure what more John collins needs to show before they give him the starting job, but I'll be interested in comparing him and Markkanen tonight.

Rookie PF for the Hawks, was the 19th pick in this past draft. Has flashed a lot of talent and production in limited minutes off the bench so far. Considering how injured they are currently, I'm surprised the Hawks aren't starting him yet. I imagine that'll change before mid season.

Lookin' forward to 0-4 tonight. One step closer to Forman's master plan of rebuilding the Bulls: draft shooters, trade shooters for future Cameron Paynes, bench the Paynes, draft shooter again. Rinse and repeat.

McDermott can't even make an impact on the bad Knicks. Traded garbage for garbage.

No argument from me I just can't let go of the cost it took to get him. Two picks, he doesn't deliver, then you trade him for trash. Might as well have kept him just to keep seeing if he turned into anything worthwhile. Payne isn't good for anything.

McDermott and Payne are equally useless players. Trading up to draft McDermott was a horrible move that most of us called at the time. The trade for Payne wasn't bad or good, it wasn't anything and had no effect on the team moving forward.

Agreed. Except they lost the trade since they gave up Gibson. They were going to suck regardless but it just further demonstrated forman's incompetence. At least he's heading to Ames next week on a scouting trip.

Giving up Gibson didn't lose them the trade. He also had no place on the future of this team and wasn't worth much considering he was a rental.

There's like a million reasons to criticize GarPax and you're harping on one of the few moves they didn't egregiously fuck up in the last few years.

Paxson has someone feeding Fred terrible ideas under the guise that they're trying to help.

You always try to extract value. I have to look at the trade but I remember it was roundly criticized, even by national writers. There's even speculation that it was the thunder who submitted a vote for forman as GM of the year mainly due to that trade. When that happens, you lost the trade. Anyway again we all know forman sucks but that's just one example.

It's better to watch than last year. Rhondo was great but otherwise frustrating team.

Or last few years really have sucked bad. This year we have no dead legs on the team. For years we always had some dipshit that stopped the offense when he got the ball. Not this year. We're young, make dumbass plays... But man, they are moving and it's nice to see fresh energy.

The trade had almost no impact on either team last season, or this season/future. Anyone criticizing it is wrong in hindsight. It was fine.

It helped the thunder last year plus they got a pick. Who the fuck loses a pick when have the most valuable chip in a deal with a contender? A GM who lost the trade does.

How did it help the Thunder? They were making the playoffs and losing in the first round with or without the trade.

Playing pretty well tonight. He's a better rebounder than I thought he would be, which still surprises me.
