Possibly, but how do they change his comedy? If he was a great comedian a year ago when he was jerking off to large groups, he’s a great comedian now that we know he was jerking off to large groups.

I love Pootie Tang, Louie, and all his stand up/late night interviews. He's done tho.

Sad.

He has not lost a step at all. There's an interview on YouTube where Kevin Hart says him and Rock were sitting in the audience watching Chappelle sometime in the last two years, and he says there isn't anyone better.

Have you seen Netflix specials?

Yes, saw them. And he wasn’t as good as he used to be. My apologies to the token guest star from Modern Family.

It's all subjective, but yeah, until Chappelle completely retires he's the best living comedian.

Maybe I’m an old man but the shit people do behind closed doors that proved them to be scum bags doesn’t diminish the talent they had in their fields. Would I still laugh at CK’s awkward bizarreness? Yes. If that makes me a bad person, well shit, I’m probably a bar person.

That was weird. That was the night I realized how effective giffing can be to annoy these old people.

Nah he's gonna be around still. These allegations have been around forever. The NYT story didn't really introduce anything not already publicly known.

I think it's fair to ignore all responses like this. If you're not actively doing standup you don't qualify. Nobody is saying Michael Jordan is the greatest living basketball player.

Larry David is still great. The new Curb episodes are hilarious as ever.

Bill Burr is great.

Hannibal Burress is great.

Jeff Ross is pretty damn good.

Kevin Hart is good - even off the cuff. His back-and-forth versus Jamie Foxx a few years ago was legendary!

Chappelle was excellent, and is now good, albeit a bit jaded, but he is not anywhere near as bad as Carlin got. At the end, Carlin led a good conversation, but he just wasn't funny.

Remains to be seen about Chris Rock still being great, but I wouldn't count him out.

Not a big fan of Louis CK.

I think Adam Carolla is still good.

There is something just so abrasive about his presentation to me that I just can’t listen to him at all. I don’t know if it’s speech pattern or his word choice or what but I just ptfb.

Where is all the Norm Macdonald love? That man is funnier than anyone.

10 years ago, I would have said Dave Chappelle and Dave Attell. Now I say Bill Burr and Jim Jefferies...behind Norm Macdonald, of course.

I hated him at first too. I takes like 2-3 months of listening to GET the schtick.

And I understand, that's way too long for some people.

He used to come on ESPN 1000 late nights and that was my default media at the time (no cable) and eventually I started liking and then loving it.

His podcast/show just had a second season this summer... Letterman and Seinfeld were guests on it. It's all on YouTube.
