The ball is out.

His right hand is touching it and he is out of bounds. By rule that is a dead ball.

Touching the ball is not the same thing as possessing the ball. When he had the ball, it was in both hands. In that picture, the ball is out.

Rule 3, Sec. 21, Article 3, Item 2:Loose Ball. A loose ball is out of bounds when it touches a boundary line or anything that is on or outside such line, including a player, an official, or a pylon.

NFL refs have sucked for 2 / 3 decades going. I didnt even watch the game but saw the reply on tv. Youre a billion dollar industry, hire professional refs.

OB is having a coronary and Hampton is blaming the coaches because in his opinion "unlike when I played, we were motivated to work, unlike today's players ". (Who now need coaching)

So he was actually out of bounds TWICE before he lost the ball. Once with the toe and once with the knee. He was actually more out of bounds than is even required. When I said the refs were 100% at fault, I really meant 200%.

Good chance the league invalidates the loss.

Ask Ditka about the Bears getting ripped against the Pack by the Refs.

The infamous Don Majewski game.

If it wasn't for the refs and umps the Bears and Cubs would never have lost a game yet. Crazy how that works

I miss the good old days when Brett Favre would throw an INT to cost the Pack another big game when it counted.

My favorite part of this season has been the vacillating between rooting for a draft pick and rooting for a division title between Bears fans all the way until week 10. Sadly, I think it's done now.

I want to be entertained. That’s all I ask for and for too many years I haven’t been. More and more I slip into apathy when it comes to this team.
