Bears best offensive play today is drawing the Eagles offsides

Who was supposed to block that guy? (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky?

Wow. Playing for the fg there. Very John Shoop of the Bears.

If a DE lined up with his back to the line and ran backwards towards the QB, would you be allowed to block him?

This is the kind of shit I'm forced to ponder watching these Bears games to keep my interest.

So that's what a good FG looks like.

At least WGN post-game with OB & Hamp will be entertaining

I believe block in the back is legal for line/pocket play.

Eh, at some point non-stop histrionics gets to be a tad much ... and somehow it feels a bit forced now, at least moreso than when it was Statler and Waldorf on The Score.

Wentz with exact same audible call for the exact same fourth down play and the bears don't make adjustments to it.

It would be fun if they just yelled - "HEY! LET'S RUN THAT SAME PLAY AGAIN! SAME PLAY!! SAME PLAY!! HIKE!"

I can answer that .... not a game where the team was an embarrassment .... one of those games you knew you couldn't win but you could point to a number of things (e.g., defense, QB improvement) and say something along the lines of "at least we saw that, which may well portend good things to come in the future / continues to portend same".

Trout's an Eagles fan? First bad thing I've heard about him.

I'd have been cool with a first down before they were down by 24.

But, I have high standards.

Eagles would get the first down.

Time to fire Fox and give Fangio the job the rest of the year.

Interesting stat: The previous 4 times the Eagles have started a season 9-1, they have played in or won the NFL championship game

The Chargers have the record for most consecutive games played scoring at least a single rushing TD with 24. The most consecutive games played without scoring at least one rushing TD is 13, also owned by the Chargers.

What Bear player will get injured in this final meaningless 5 minutes?

I vote Bullard.
