Dora Dora Dora the Explorer....

Yeah, well, your help is too late now. All I could come up with was Spongebob. Do you know how stupid that is!? Spongebob Marquez!?

His last name is SquarePants. Duh.

 Yeah, even realized that as it was written but just couldn’t come up with anything else. Thought about Hannah Montana, but that’s not even a cartoon.

STUPID IDIOT.

just settled a work comp case for $1500. That's a $300 fee! Half goes to me as partner, take out some $$ for Uncle Sam and I think I just cleared about $100.

So long suckers, I'm cutting out early today!

work comp, it's all about volume. That said, I only took this particular case because it was an old client of mine. Sometimes you gotta take the small ones to make sure they call you when they get a big one.

Nice, I'm looking to move to the suburbs soon and have been toying with the idea of building, but it seems like such an ordeal. How much of the design process are you going to involved in?

Son "won" his first basketball game of the season this year. They don't keep score yet but every kid does

He takes after his father athletically (bad) so I've told him that he just has to be craziest and most aggressive player on the court. They play four 6 minute quarters, each kid plays 2 full quarters. He was playing insane defense, just harassing the poor kid he was guarding like crazy. He got 4 fouls called on him   After the game I told him that it was his best game of the season and he said "but I didn't score any points and they called a bunch of fouls on me". I just asked him "How many did the guy you were guarding score? And that's why you get 6 fouls, might as well use them."

If any of you are going to start building a home in the burbs (Lake, Cook, or DuPage Co.) let me know via PM.

Hank, that reminds me when the school basketball coach insisted he had to have my football player son play a season because of size. Many opponents and a few teammates were injured and I think he had 10 points total for the season.

In my 12 years at this company we have had all of two projects in McHenry County...both for the same guy.

My daughter is a soccer goalie. We've been told by her club that she has extraordinary talent. That's kind of an odd thing to process as a parent so we've taken it with a grain of salt.

This past Saturday, during an indoor soccer marathon, I was pulled aside by a woman asking if I was the goalie's father. Turns out, the woman is the Canadian National soccer team's goalie, in town to watch her niece play, who told me that my daughter has extraordinary talent.

We exchanged contact info and she's going to provide some goalie resources for us.

All in all, pretty cool.

Congrats. Having a talented athlete child probably can be intimidating. A lot of aspects to look into and watch out for.

Thankfully she takes after her mother. :P

Seriously though, that's very cool.

Local girl just finished her career as goalie for the Northwestern soccer team, said to be one of the most successful in NCAA history. Knockout blonde, about six feet tall, both my boys already knew who she was when we saw her at the sports bar with her folks over Thanksgiving, she definitely has it all going on. Superb athlete and free ride to NU.

Don't make the move to become one of these puck-slapping maple suckers, Killer! There's plenty of opportunities right there in town.

Was expecting some samples from a supplier possibly today but got a package from another supplier I didn't think I would be
getting anything from. Figured they sent some cookies or brownies or something for the holidays. Ended up being a bottle of
Johnny Walker Platinum. Appears to be a pretty nice 18 yr old bottle of Scotch.

We moved offices back in May. I saw the UPS guy this morning, and he had about 15 gift boxes from various folks we deal with. Apparently they had our old address in their system still, so we have a huge haul that just came in.

I can't make a favorite fast food restaurant list since I don't eat fast food other than a Subway sandwich every couple months. I haven't eaten at a hamburger fast food joint in over 5 years. I am not a health nut but I think fast food is rather shitty.
