There's a gap of a couple years where nobody knows where Morgan was. Him and Rick drift apart after the pilot, and they don't reunite until the "Clear" episode (one of the best episodes of the series IMO). But, the whole point of Clear is that Morgan has stayed in town by himself clearing everything.

His whereabouts have been pretty well outlined after he left town after Clear, he met that Kung Fu guy in the woods and then he went searching for Rick's group. So, unless he goes to Texas really fast after Kung Fu guy and then comes back, I don't see where he could have ever been in Texas in the past. This would have to be him moving on (which makes sense since he took off) and going to Texas in the current TWD timeline.

I was thinking that it could be one of Rick's kids, too. Carl has such a huge role with Negan in the comics, though. But they did find a baby....sounds like a TWD plot move.

Carl. Yeah, that's what I heard.

If the last half of the season, which I know it will be, is episode on episode explaining how all those people (Eugene, Morgan & Ezekiel, Carol, Daryl, Carl & the weird guy, etc.) ended up in that water pipe, I will come here and bitch about it after I watch each episode. I'm realistic. I'm too invested.

But you know that's 5 episodes + the Oceanside thing, remember them? Yeah, neither does anyone else.

Before I heard the actual spoiler, I'd read that the actor was talking about focusing on college. He's hardly been in this season.

Made sense.

I quit on the comics around 150-something but it seemed like they were setting up Carl to take over. Best line of the season was Michonne in the first episode telling Carl "it's your show now". Even then, it seemed telegraphed. But I liked the line.
