Mitch looks bad, Howard looks good.

 Tired of your Mitch hate. I hope he throws for 3TD's and then comes over to your house and sticks his penis in your mouth on the bed while your wife watches.

Remember Bob, hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things.

Are you hoping the Packers still make the playoffs bud?

Unlikely but possible. They beat the panthers and win out, panthers lose one of their last two, and they’re in. But yes, of course I hope they make it.

Well, may your fortunes for this season be better than ours.

Looks like Fox will have to wait a week to pass Marc Trestman in wins.

Bears being the only team with out td celebrations as they don’t expect to score so why waste the effort.

4th consecutive season with double digit losses.

Cleveland and Chicago the only teams in the NFL to pull off that one.

Ultimately, I don't mind the loss because at this point, there's no point in winning, but it certainly didn't give you a lot to hope for. The O-Line was really, really bad and I know that has a lot to do with injuries, but they really can't do anything. Mitch is throwing balls (generally) too high since he has started and I don't see much progress with that -- high balls cause receivers to jump for them which not only makes them more defenseless, but also greatly increases the chances of a tipped ball that gets picked off. I know you can't do this as a coach, but I wish they would limit Howard to 10-12 carries a game and save him for next year when you get the offensive line back and add in whatever new stud they pick with #9 overall. The front of the D seems like they have top 10 potential, but the back of the D is way too inconsistent. Offensive play calling is a bit too gimmicky overall for my tastes (but I guess, what are you going to do when you are so much worse than the D?)

At this point, I think everyone is looking to see Mitch improve on offense, but it is really hard to tell since everything except RB is crumbling around him. I think every pick was his fault today (yes, he was somewhat forced to force it on the last drive) so hopefully they pick up stuff in the tape review.

Im tired of the mitch apologists, I want em to draft another QB in the first 4 rounds and sign Tyrod Taylor..let him have a fair shake at training camp for starter.

Except for the fact that when the Bears HAD to open it up, Mitch showed that he fit passes in to small zone windows that many other NFL QB's can't.

Dowell Loggains can't leave fast enough

I wouldn't mind seeing the Bears take a flyer on a QB in the 4th or 5th round -tho its counter productive to a point due to Pace needing to not waste draft picks he doesn't have the luxury of wasting after all his needless trades. I also think we need to keep a vet (like Sanchez for example) around. I know I know, Sanchez is nothing special, but he's cheap, and he's a vet.

lol @ Tyrod Taylor tho. There's nothing special there. Especially on a team already sorely lacking talent to put around him in the 1st place.

The Bears need to address WR and O-line in this upcoming draft. I also wouldn't mind seeing another high draft pick on a pass rusher to play across from Floyd as I think Floyd could really benefit from something like that.

I went into this season not expecting much from this team because I don't see a lot of talent here, and I felt our OC was a weak link (if not other parts of the staff as well). Under those circumstances I don't think I've seen anything out of Mitch that makes me want to give up on him. He's been ok as a rookie with very little experience and very little talent around him and a coaching staff that was basically operating on a flyer all year. I'm going to be patient with Mitch for this season. If nothing changes over the course of next year, then I'll be closer to the opinion you're expressing. But Imma wait and give him a chance to get some experience and see what comes.

That said, the Bears can't take too long to identify whether or not Mitch has 'it'. They can't waste years on top of years on him like they did Cutler. That's why I wanted this kid to start early and get the excuse of 'needs experience' out of the way as quick as possible. And we got that this year.

They are solid vets. But they aren't 1's or 2's -and they're basically being asked to play those roles for a rookie QB.

I'd keep both of them for next year for sure tho.

For what I saw of the game Mitch didn't look that good. Couple nice throws but a lot of others were he missed / threw behind open receivers.

For the great backs we're supposed to have, our running game was terrible yesterday.

43 yards on 15 attempts for a 2.9 average.

Offensive line wasn't moving anyone and had their share of penalties. Only the fullback did good.

Loagins can't balance a playbook, the Bears WR's aren't major threats and there's a rookie QB out there. A defense can stack the box more often against that kind of stuff. I was happy about how they played against the Bengals, but that team was also suffering from a combination of hangover from the Steelers loss and injuries. It was what it was.

Howard is a good back tho, and Cohen is a good scat back.

This bitch Fox, even with faced with the end of his coaching career, still plays if painfully conservative on 4th and 1 and has for the past several weeks. It makes you wonder what would ever get him to do anything but the most conservative coaching decisions?

Bears converted a 4th and 3 with a pass to Shaheen against Bengals, in the 2nd quarter. Though as previously discussed in depth, the Bengals fielded a high school team defense that game.

I think the Bears mandate to all hired coaches that they must stick to a 1950's style of football.
