No Andy Reid Tree coach has fell flat on their face. Some have been very, very good. Probably the worst was Childress who was at least serviceable for a time. Probably safest choice outside of Shurmer but perhaps more upside than Shurmer. This hire does make sense from Pace's perspective.

Childress unquestionably fell flat on his face. The Vikings arguably had the most offensive talent in the league for a time during his tenure there and he ran the most uncreative offense possible. He was also a gaping asshole who alienated nearly everyone on the team besides Jim Kleinsasser, who he kept running plays for despite having actually talented offensive players like Peterson, Moss, and Harvin on the team.

They nearly went to the Superbowl ...odd definition of "falling flat on your face".

The run certainly ended with him falling flat on his face. The George Ofman-looking Brad Childress unraveled after the NFCCG loss.

I wonder if Nagy brings Mike Kafka with him from KC to be on staff.

He has made some good moves. Some were very good moves. I'm not sure the bad moves like Shaheen and White drop him down to what some of you seem to think.

Not a B. C, C+ at best. Clearly if (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky works out, the grade jumps up quite a bit.

He'll try but get bogged down in layers upon layers of stultifying bureaucracy until he goes insane.

After firing a coach in his 60s, more than 20 years his senior, Pace has hired a candidate just slightly younger than himself.

Until Pederson all of Reid's offensive coaches either sucked when moving on or no other team wanted to hire them because they knew Reid was responsible for the success.

Howard seems to be falling off already...might need to replace soon.

Chilly got the Vikings within one play of the Superbowl. This is just nonsense. The ending was bad, but they were quite successful for a period..

Was it him or Favre having a career year at 50?

Never been a fan of hiring a guy with no head coaching experience. With that being said they need to make the playoffs in one of Paces last 3 years, and seeing the shit that made the playoffs this weekend it shouldn't be that tough should it?

Highly doubtful he even becomes as good as Matthew Stafford, and look what that's done for Detroit.

It would be so Bears to fuck that up, considering they said Phillips was going to make sure they followed all the rules during the interview process.

I know Langford isn't on the team anymore. It was still a good pick. He just found a better RB.

This also seems to be Pace saying "Hey, the Rams hired a really young and inexperienced guy after firing a veteran coach and they had a great season so why don't I do the same!".

I concur.

He already had the seasoned pro.

Langford had 0 NFL carries this year and even before getting injured he was on the practice squad.

I hope so.

5th in the league in total offense and they rely heavily on using a tight end.

We have a big athletic target that was ignored this season.

Nagy also made that offense go with a very mediocre group of WR's(Hill is good but kind of a one trick pony).
