Mac gets very annoyed when Doyle steers the show in weird directions. Which Doyle tends to do. Doyle tries too hard to be funny and provocative. Not to mention just having dumb sports thoughts.

Mac has become very Chris Berman-y and Chet Coppock-y. I still enjoy listening to Mac, but the bluster combined with the fact that he's been using the same nicknames, sayings, and references for years makes it hard not to see the similarities.

Tim Doyle seems like kind of a spazz. I can see him getting under someone's skin to the point where they want to take a swing at him (Kendall Gill).

Mac had a good point earlier in the show when he asked if the Bulls have really improved that much or is the league just that bad and said it's probably a little of both. They have Antione Walker on and he just said the league is watered down and there are probably only about 6 good teams in the league. Interesting to hear him say that because several guys on sports radio, who all seem to be in their early to mid-20s, talk about the NBA like watching it is a transcendent experience.

Good point. After listening to him, I absolutely know why Gill threw a hook at Doyle. Don't know what he did. But I'm convinced that Doyle deserved it.

re: The NBA. I think much of it is teams "laying up"..following the Popovich Model during the regular season. The goal is to get a top 4 seed and be healthy..that's pretty much it. Not really much incentive to securing the "top" seed.
