I agree. It's either Spiegel or Goff or both. Mully, Hanley, Parkins and Bernstein are safe.

I listened to Mac and Doyle a fair amount this morning. Doyle made mention of their partnership and said he looked forward to the ride for as long as it lasts. Not sure if that meant weekend shifts, or weekdays.

Could Mac and Doyle be the noon-2 show?

I take it back, Goff. Good thing you didn't get married after you knocked her up. She can't get half now.

He’ll find another producer to obsess with...and there’s always the opportunity to inject a race angle into every Bernstein thread.

  Thats probably because a lot of their show is the race angle?

I'm not calibrated enough to notice Jason getting bitchier. What'd he do, take it up from 8 to 9?

Part of why I said that was tongue in cheek about Beardown always saying he is a sensitive bitch. But with that said even as a fan of Goff I have to admit that he has seemed a little on edge over the last few months. Everything seems to get to him.

It really seems like something is in the air with Mac coming back around.

My guess is it is something minor and will not be the major overhaul many are talking about.

Parkins and Bernsie are safe. I dont see any way that either of them go anywhere. I really like the idea of Mac and Parkins together in the afternoons. But I dont really know what you do with Bernsie then.

It is interesting that Grote has been with Bernstein as a subs twice in the last 10 days or so. Maybe you guys are right. Grote might be in play. And the Bears thing was bullshit until they could officially announce he will be Bernstein's new partner.

That might have a lot to do with spending so much time on Twitter, a site designed to turn you into a raw exposed nerve. Think about it: whose Twitter accounts have we looked at and said "wow, what a sensible, well-adjusted, down-to-earth person"?

I've said for months they will be stealing Chicago guy Ramie Makhlouf from The Fan in Milwaukee.

SSP is called The Fan now? Lame. But tell us about this guy.

Oh damn, does Entercom still own SSP? It could happen...

He drives the afternoon show. He is in his late 30's and i believe grew up in Palatine. Cubs, Bulls & Bears fan. He moonlights as a stand up comic which I think adds a nice layer to his personality. Makes fun of himself plenty so you won't have to worry about another one with Spiegel's vaginitis. He is similar to Parkins but has a different voice. I haven't heard a ton of his opinions on Chicago teams because he doesn't really get to talk about them being on a WI station.

Nah, that was my idea, and I have a shitty track record at prognostication.

Serious question.

Will Jason Goff get his gang member friends to kill Dan McNeil if Mac gets back in with Jason getting fired.

I say YES.

With that said, I say Dan McNeil is ready for this and kills the gang banger.

I listened to Mac this morning and he was fine but outside of the football season I have no interest in hearing him. He doesn't have an NBA thought and he's lazy when it comes to baseball.

Since Goff is a big supporter of JDC, and he’s under contract, perhaps Maggie is in danger.

DiCaro and Goff, Saturdays 8-midnight! Tweet lines are open!!!

Mac doesn’t like baseball, basketball, or the Bears. Doesn’t leave a whole lot.

On his podcast the last couple of weeks, he has made a noticeable effort to start including Bulls talk and they did talk some Bulls this morning.

He likes the Bears; plenty of time given to them on his podcasts.

I can see him talking about the Bulls. I can also see him giving zero fucks about national NBA basketball. I would only want to hear about the Bulls. I give zero fucks about Lebron or the Warriors and don't need to hear about them except when they are playing the Bulls or when one of them has won the Championship.

One thing that hasn't been discussed that is probable.

Bernstein went to management and said he can't work with Goff. Knowing Bernstein, he wanted Mac to be the villain in this thing so Goff doesn't think he's the racist that forced the change. So it all falls on Mac in Goff's mind. Jedi trick by Bernstein. He's sneaky that way.

BBFOREVER is an evil genius. He’s got the whole board worked up and poor Beardown is more excited than Trump at a porn convention.
