What are the odds that out of all the supposed 99.99999% of the New Orleanians (sp) that were according to the network news and cable channels (Fox, CNN, MSNBC etc)that were out looting their fair city, Mr. North couldn't find at least one free tv carrying, Ray Nagin supportin stereotype to accentuate his lame attempt at his take on the assinine Nagin "chocolate city" statements. Instead he ends up speaking to a very well spoken, non Nagin supporting true New Orleanian (sp) who lost her home yet seemed to be trying to carry on with her life and help get her city back on track the right way. I found it comical listening to this knob North starting to back track when he realized the joke was a failed attempt. I hope the lesson learned that not everything the media throws out there is gospel, yes, there maybe stories that turn all of our stomachs yet for the most part the truth of the matter is usually somewhere in the middle of what is reported ( the truth is usually reported months latter after all the sensational crap has died down) at least he was man enough to give her a free plug for her hotel that she worked for. On the other had I had heard the Grady Goff B&B chocolate city sound bites that I found really funny, it was short and sweet and not drawn out with moronic morning debates. Sorry so long guys and gals.
