Last week at Costco I accidentally bought 10lbs of frozen chicken wings instead of chicken breasts. Anyone have a good recipe for baked wings I can make for this Sunday?

If it helps I prefer buffalo sauce over bbq but all wings are good in my book. So dry rub suggestions are a-ok as well.

Baked wings are the worst. Barbecue them if you don't want to fry them.

Is there a reason you can't go back and exchange them for what you meant to buy in the first place?

Are you going to a party? If so, try seeing if somebody will do the cooking and preparation if you provide the wings.

My wife and I make baked wings sometimes and they turn out good as long as you cook them long enough to get that crisp. We season
with salt, pepper, cayenne and paprika. I like hot wings as much as the next guy, maybe more, but these turn out pretty well for us.
Good luck.

Awesome.

I was going to go with, "cut slivers of a hershey kiss and tuck them under the skin of the wing", but this is far less effort.

This video is great, because it contains the secret: Baking Powder!!!
You can season them up however you want, (lemon pepper/buffalo doesn't sound that great to me) but you can achieve the crispity-crunch by baking them if you add baking powder to the dry-brine.
P.S. - all of this dude's videos are great, he's like a less nerdy Alton Brown, though Alton is great too.
Enjoy.
:D

oh shit, I forgot to add the video.
