I only got the stream turned on for that skit, then it died shortly before Weekend Update, which is all I care to see anyway, so it appears I'm #Blessed.

Yeah it was a horrible episode. That brunette has some nice tits, but whatever. The alternate ending to the Fresh Prince of Bell Aire was sort of funny.

Will Ferrell is hosting tonight. Hopefully that means a good chance of it being largely free of Trump hysterics, although I'm sure Kate McKinnon will play some Trump related character at some point...probably during the news.

I’m sure they can make a skit with Ferrell as GWB giving Trump pointers on being President.

Awful so far. Baldwin doing Trump was all they really had last year.

I don't know ... that one broad that did Sean Spicer was actually pretty over for quite some time.

Bob, why the hell are we watching this? It's beyond terrible. SNL is to comedy what ISIS is to comedy.

Tapped out after weekend update...I thought there might be some old Will Ferrell nostalgia, but yeah, they managed to botch that.

I gave the next skit a chance but I don't think I went a minute into it. Thank the maker for streaming cartoons.

I think Ferrell was in every skit. Maybe he missed one. Which is rare for a host. But it makes sense to do it with Ferrell since did SNL for years.

I saw a "news" article this morning in my Apple News feed that praised a couple of the MeToo-related skits, particularly the one with three couples at a restaurant. So I watched it...just cringeworthy:

I follow a podcast host for a couple TV shows I watch who is also a writer for Vanity Fair. She's a successful Julie DiCaro.

I read her article before the show thinking "this will be great". She described it as "comedic gold" and "one of the sharpest S.N.L. sketches in ages".

It was a typical one-joke sketch that tried to play up the absurdity. Average at best.

The show sucked and I generally enjoy Will Ferrell.

Opening sketch not off to a good start.

Who is on the high brow, liberal comedy show this evening?

Natalie Portman.

The monologue is pretty good.

This episode is already WAY better than last weeks. I had really high hopes last week.

That music video was great!

I’m really tired of Baldwin as Trump. But now, even the studio audience isn’t laughing.

Let's see what they can do this week. Should have plenty of material with Trump/Sessions(Mr. Mago), Hope Hicks. Charles Barkley is hosting.

Can somebody explain the opening scene of SNL tonight? It was Mueller, the guy investigating Trump. But who was the girl suppose to be?

Regardless, it wasn't funny at all. I don't know how all the SNL writers think this shit is funny when they have all week to come up with shit.

I haven't tuned in for a few seasons. My wife wanted to watch because Sterling K Brown was hosting. Opening skit was kind of funny but the
rest was just garbage. I also couldn't figure out why a guy who is such a good actor had to read everything off of cue cards and it was so
obvious. I realize he only gets a few days to learn the skits and stuff but I could have read off of cards like he did. Turned it off after the weekend
update.

Sterling 'Kathleen' Brown totally nailed his Common impression in the Family Feud bit.
I read a comment somewhere saying "Common seems to be the type of dude who gets high on his own farts.'

The Nickelback sketch was pretty funny too, mostly because the cast was so committed.

Forgot about the Trump brothers, that was kind of funny. Are they a regular bit?

I love Bill Hader. That was a great episode. Even Update was hilarious.
