Went there today because I've been fighting the flu and I wanted a hot meal that I didn't have to cook myself.

But, of course, the Big Mac and fries were cold. Is it really so much to ask that the food be served hot or at least warm?

It has to be the worst fast food now. You don't get a Big Mac anymore, rather a Mini Mac. And the nuggets are a complete joke. Half the size they used to be. The McChicken no longer tastes like chicken. It's basically breaded white slime on a bun. Really nasty stuff.

America used to be great because of McDonalds. Sadly, that is no longer the case, because now the food is of the worst quality. Hardly even edible.

Breakfast is the only thing that doesn't suck. So many places passed them.

McChickens, McNuggets, Big Macs and McDoubles can still hit the spot in a pinch. And the fries are good when fresh. Ask for fresh fries.

Order fries with no salt, and they will drop a new batch. Ask for a packet of salt at the window. They over-salt the shit out of those things.

My go-to at McD's is two double cheeseburgers. I ditch the buns from one, and make a quadruple. The buns are pretty shitty.

I'm not trusting any place I have to make a special request of it being fresh so it tastes decent.

This.

Their breakfast is good too.

They have a classic chicken sandwich that is decent.

Even their breakfast has gone down in the last couple of years. They've tweaked their English muffin for the worse, and reduced the size of the steak in the bagel. And a few years ago they really messed up their hash browns, although they are still edible.

Meanwhile, the cost of the McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit is up by about 20%.

I don't get the Big Mac much. Prefer the Quarter pounder.

But you're right, the Big Mac I had as a kid had more hamburger than this one. The Bun was bigger to cover it as well.

This is the first time I've ever heard McDonald's referred to as a "hot meal".

Slightly off topic, but McDonalds in Poland is probably the best fast food I've ever eaten.

When he said it, he probably put a lot of sentences together, without saying much at all.

zapiekanka seems to be the go to fast food. It's just an individual French bread pizza but I happened to love the frozen kind made by stouffer's as a kid

News you can use balding fellas from Business Insider.

A chemical used to make McDonald's fries could help cure baldness, Japanese scientists say

Can't even call McDonalds hot garbage anymore.
More like room temperature garbage.

McD's and BK are both absolute shadows of their former glory, and the nearest Wendy's to me is sketchy as fuck
so I VERY rarely go there, like once or twice a year.
For me, it's either Culvers or Shirls - but both are fucking expensive, so I mastered the art of twice-fried skin on fries
and just make burgers at home most of the time. Those Culvers Buffalo Chicken Tenders are awesome, but I can
also replicate those at home, now I just need to learn how to make frozen chocolate custard and then I can be free
from the fast food chains that bind me...

It's a rare move, but the dollar menu cheeseburger has been a life saver when I have a drunk Metra ride ahead of me.

It's all free at Culver's when you order out of the rear dumpster.

I don't really see the need for that. Unless you are going at some weird off-hour (like 3AM in the morning), McDonald's is probably dropping fries at least every 5 minutes.

Yeah, I think it's just hit or miss depending on how recently they've changed the oil.
