Yes. Tastes virtually the same as takeout. Highly recommended.

I don’t pay the premium shipping I have my mom bring. Same thing though. Delicious.

Much improved then if that’s the case.

You might want to double check that. We’ve done it in the past and it cost twice as much to ship as the pizza itself. If that has changed please let us know as we’ve got friends all over that would be interested.

I have not went thru and set up an order. But for the 2pack, 4 pack and 6 pack options it says free standard shipping. If it is shipped to areas outside of a 2 day delivery area then additional charges apply

Quote:

$98.00 Includes Standard Shipping!!
FREE Standard Shipping included with most packages. Additional charges may apply depending on your location and desired delivery date

Shipping appears to be built into the price though. 2 small 1 ingredient deep dish pizzas for $69 isn’t much of a deal. I’m not sure how they can say it’s included when it would be $17.25 each in the burbs.

yeah it maybe. I was thinking it was not that bad considering the last time I got a pizza up there I was thinking it was close to $25.

They have to be shipped with dry ice, which can't be cheap. It's not like they can sit on a truck for 2-3 days and be fine.

Lou's pizzas arrive in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice.

I would find a local place and eat there, you can buy frozen pizza at the grocery store.

The pizzas last up to 6 months in the freezer so the 6 pizzas for $129 deal isn't bad. $22 a pizza isn't that much more than what I was paying in New York.

Giordanos doesn't even crack the top 25 pizza joints in the city, i would get a frozen Jacks and save the dough.

That's a terrible thought. Chicago pizza is awesome and Giordanos is near the top.

Eh, it's decent. Probably better than anything you can get in Missourah, but I'd put Giordano's at the bottom of the Chicago Stuffed Pizza ladder.

Where did it fall on Bigfan's PIZZA RANKINGS?

I love Giordanos. Have it just about every time I am back and take some home a few times.

We need a Stuffed Pizza rankings because I always thought other pizzas were better because people didn't like stuffed as much.

I'm in the "Giordanos isn't good" camp.
You can also get Lou's or Gino's east shipped from goldbely.com
I have a promocode for $25 off: chocolatemaltball1304

Good stuff. The prices there look fairly similar to Giordanos.

What does shipping cost?

I think it was around 30. So really the 25 off covers most of delivery

We did Lou's the first time we had it shipped. I didn't think it tasted the same but I only had Lou's a few times fresh. The Giordanos tasted like it was just delivered given how they ship it with a bag of sauce to defrost and put on top.
