Excuse me for a moment to be semi-serious:

For many of you here, my employer (The Pennsylvania State University) has a bit of a negative reputation for obvious reasons. One of the things that Penn State does that is actually pretty good is their annual 46 hour dance marathon which ended today raising over 10 million dollars that goes to the four diamonds fund to fight pediatric cancer. Some of you old timers know that I have a personal connection with pediatric cancer as my son was diagnosed over five years ago (he's doing great).
One of the great offshoots from Thon is mini-thon. High schools and middle schools throughout Pennsylvania have their own thon that also raises money for the cause. My oldest is in middle school this year and is excited to be participating in her school's mini-thon this year. If you are looking for a cause to donate to then click this link.

Thanks for reading! Now back to the normal board shenanigans.

If you were on the fence about donating before this may convince you, my daughter said that she is going to write thank you cards to everyone who donates to her page.

If Chas donates, don't exchange addresses with him.
