The wrath would be severe and relentless if the wife found out I was out in a social situation without wearing my ring.

I don't like wearing jewelry. I handed my wedding ring to my wife for some reason while we were driving down lsd in our wrangler with the top off one beautiful day. When I asked for it back she had dropped it out of the car. She never replaced it and I never cared.

I think a woman taking off her ring is more telling about a relationship

I think I took mine off for a few years. Had gotten epoxy on it and kept meaning to take it somewhere. My wife didn’t care. I finally figured a way to clean it and usually wear it but she doesn’t raise a stink if I don’t.

I only take mine off to play golf. It's actually the wedding band from my first marriage. Liked it a lot and didn't make sense
to go and buy another one when I had a perfectly good one sitting in a drawer.

I made the switch to one of these a while back and i've been a fan:

And PTFB at the Rizzo should be more outspoken talk. How about you let him conduct himself as he sees fit?

She knows. I think it was like an $800 ring when I first got it. Just really like it. Made of titanium and tungsten and doesn't
get scratched up at all. Didn't make any sense to either of us to buy a brand new one. It's not like I gave her my ex-wife's
ring or something.

Yeah, I got a 3 pack of wedding bands for $10 and that's what I use.

I lost my wedding band on a fishing trip a few years ago. She took it relatively well but we did go to a jeweler and get a replacement band the day after I got home.

Mine is as well, which I love. Some of my friends told me to get Tungsten, but it's like wearing a damn lead sinker. But as much as I love my titanium ring, I always take it off whenever I do something very physical or manual labor. Just google Titanium Ring injuries, and you can see some shit out of Faces of Death.

I have a nice silicone ring I wear whenever I do any blue collar work.

I know a lot of people who use that as a day to day ring. Mostly those who are very active or work with hands. Changing out the oil, it’s probably for the best not to be wearing nice jewelry.

That said, I wear mine all the time.

When I was married I never wore one for the same reason I don't like wearing jewelry and I don't even wear a watch.

Also I thought it was a corny tradition.

I dont know how people think now but guys back then use to think I didnt wear one to cheat on my wife. I never cheated on her. I found that women took this very seriously. To them it was a sign of being taken or available. I had some bad experiences because of that. At workplaces, if a woman took interest in me thinking I was not married since I did not wear a ring, and later found out I was married, well it was hell to work with her. Especially if she was above me.

I guess I never noticed how much it weighs. It is pretty thin. Biggest selling point for me was that it doesn't scratch and it was simple.
I didn't want anything with diamonds on it or was flashy.

Mine is Tungsten...yes, it's heavier...took about 2 weeks to forget it was there as opposed to 1 week.

I wear mine all the time. I don't like jewelry or watches either, but fine wearing a wedding ring.

Now...there is also WEDDING BANNED, who I recommend seeing at your local Austin's, Durty Nellie's, H.O.M.E. Bar....good band....doesn't include Spiegel.

They were best when they had their first lead singer Captain Mantastic. The new guy they got (at least it was new when I saw them last 5 years ago) wasn't as good.

When I was in high school, the pep band called themselves PEP BANNED! With such rebels in the band, I have to imagine that more than one flute got shoved into a pussy.

I hate jewelry, hats and pants. Thought I would hate wearing my wedding ring. Turns out I don't. And as corny as this sounds I'm proud of wearing mine.
