I will be going into my sixth season using the same hand-me-down Cleveland Irons. I believe it is the indian, and not the arrow that leads to my scores. There might be one shot every few rounds that I don't 'have a club for.' A new driver will be the 4th new club I have purchased since 2015.

If I played as much as TBone and Furious, or was as good as they are, I would spend the money and get fitted for clubs.

Bought a new but last year's Cobra F6 Driver. 10.5 degree loft. Replaced my old Cobra driver. Got it on super sale at PGA Superstore in Schaumburg.

These are stats from the golfers on the PGA Tour. Juice is claiming that he generates a higher club head speed than the average professional golfer. Fantasyland indeed.

So you're saying I'm lying about the output of the system, when the reliability of the system is what I asked about when I brought it up?

Thanks for proving your own condescension.
Will these apologies from you two be via PM or what?

I'm saying that your claims are bullshit, because they are.

You want me to apologize for not believing that you, a guy who says he hasn't played in eight years, generates far more club head speed with a hybrid than the average professional golfer does with a driver?

I'm sorry for not believing that you can defy the laws of physics.

No, because you're demanding an apology for being a "condescending know-it-all", when you in fact have been condescending in your disbelief, not that I actually swing that hard, but that the light-based system computed such a figure over and over.

You fucking baby. Don't blame others for your spurious swing speed claims. Own that shit.

Nobody seems to be familiar with the technology you are using. Why are you fixated on it?

You would be better served by going back and reading my helpful posts on the first page. I can quote them for emphasis if you would like.

I'm not demanding anything. But, if anybody owes an apology, it's you to Furious Styles. I'm not being condescending because I don't believe something that Did. Not. Happen. Either you read the machine incorrectly, or it was malfunctioning. There is no way you generated club head speed faster than the average pro. T-Bone can hit the ball a country mile, but he wouldn't make a claim like that.

I swing pretty hard. The last time I was on one of those machines, my driver club head speed was about 90-95 when I could control it. The hybrids would be much lower, as the laws of physics dictate. Think about that for a minute before you reply in a condescending fashion.

CONDESCENDING KNOW IT ALL. CONDESCENDING KNOW IT ALL.

Look, I know I don't swing that hard, I even offered up a theory on what would cause the reading to be inaccurate. I just don't think you should be crying about condescension when you called me a liar for repeating what the system said, no matter how loony it was.

Have a good season.

I generally play regular flex in my clubs (better shafts that play true to flex), but would probably be fit into stiff for stock shafts.

Also, Taylormade is known for horrible manufacturing tolerances. Your 12* driver could actually be anywhere from 10-14*. Same with the shaft specs. That is why you should get fitted, especially at higher swing speeds. I experimented last season with a "made for" Fubuki shaft in a newer Callaway driver and it felt "loose" compared to the real- deal Fubuki.  My dispersion was clearly much better.

If the current R15 shaft isn't a good fit, there are tons of inexpensive aftermarket shafts w/the appropriate adapter on eBay.

Very helpful.

Ball speed is roughly 1.5 times the speed of the club. A 120mph swing would generate 180mph ball speed. When I played with my
buddy 3 weeks ago that is how fast he was hitting his driver, but again this is a guy that swings harder than anyone I have ever seen.
The machine we used didn't show club head speed, just ball speed. When I was letting it go as hard as I could I was topping out at 165
which is 110 mph. I guarantee there is a lot of variance in some of these machines. The one we use is repped by Jason Day and Spieth
and it is pretty nice, although I wasn't really agreeing with some of the numbers I was seeing. The carry distance on some of the irons
was wildly all over the place and we were playing about one club less than we would in real life. I don't take any of the numbers as iron
clad but gives you some kind of idea probably within 5% give or take.

I'm guessing it was at some type of boat show? Winning a $75K pontoon boat and $25K in cash sounds great and all but now
you have become a "boat guy" and have to find a place for a big party cruiser.

Played Bay Hill on a simulator today. I shot 80 with three 3-putts. Remarkably accurate in measuring how I screw up breaking 80.
