personally, i did not listen to og. listened to doug and ob on line - funny stuff.. given the choice between og and doug and ob.. come on, it isn't close

I listened and it blew. his voice is too annoying, he's too smug, similar to zach, feels like he knows everything but always agrees at the same time.

OG is not doing either, he will remain in his limited role. And will probably be gone entirely after the Bulls run.

My sources tell me that ESPN is changing it's name to OGSN...as in the OG Sports Network. OG will host solo from 5am to 7pm. Then from 7pm to 10pm...it'll be all of OG's high school football and basketball games that he broadcasts from his 1,000 watt radio station in the suburbs. From 10pm til midnight...it'll be Mrs. OG and Brother OG simply breaking down all that is great about the OG. From Midnight till 5am..it'll be the Best of the OG.

This has a better chance of happening...than OG ever taking over the midday show.

He has been and always will be the butt of all jokes by other hosts. It's now officially in his job description.

Indeed, there is a reason OG gets the most posts. He is a pud.
And everyone who works with him, listens to him, and knows him personally understands this simple but true fact. That's why we post. In awe of his pud-ness, and the fact that he is so oblivious to it, when it's as obvious to everyone else as the mole on Cindy Crawford's face. I wonder what his family really thinks of him?

OG is a pud. I actually took JD's comments as good natured ribbing. It's Jurko that clearly hates the OG. And rightfully so!

I happen to know for a fact that no one at the radio station "hates" the OG. There's nothing to hate about him. He's a good guy who keeps his nose clean, is devoted to his family and, to a fault, has stayed away from the backstabbing BS that comsumes the radio business. He's never verbally assaulted as associate on the air as others seem to love to do. Does he bitch, whine and complain...sure he does, but I'm not sure I blame him. He's been in the business for over 15 years, has more talent than half the people on the air in Chicago, and has never been given a shot. Maybe it's because he doesn't fit in. He doesn't drink, party and have fascinating stories about all night benders. He's got a weird sense of humor and is a bit of a dork. Of course the dork part can be said about most people in sports talk radio. Anyway, I think the fact that he's different makes him an easy mark. He really is one of the easiest people in the world to give shit to and human nature takes advantage of that opportunity. There's something about him that make him a lightening rod for attention, jokes, etc. Don't mistake that for "hatred".
