Rye. Nothing like a piece of toasted rye bread with your eggs in the morning or a ham and rye sandwich in the afternoon. Eureka’s grainiac is a close second.

Rye bread sucks, but even the shittiest bread is better than Bread, the band.

Hawaiian Sweet Bread is the correct answer

My oldest brothers were about 15 years older than me and they bequeathed me that album. But when I was little, they told me that they were in the band, and I believed them (and told people) until I was about 16. Also, my oldest sister told me that she dated Joe Namath and that he came to our house and I believed that, too. And told people. Jesus, I was the stupidest kid.

Agreed, and damn if I'm now thinking about why I skipped breakfast.

You have a good ear for dialect--it's the "o'er" that wins me over.

I had some really good naan at an Indian Restaurant in Atlanta last weekend. In fact, it was the best Indian food I've ever had (and in Atlanta of all places).

Fan of rye and in particular pumpernickel rye with my breakfast. Eggs, pumpernickel, butter and raspberry preserves were a great breakfast for young squirrel.

But yeah.. I like bread far too much.. the food group, not the band.

That really is a shock. Atlanta is the home of chain restaurants and lack of flavor.

I know, I have family from there. I was not excited that my research conference had picked Atlanta for much that reason, but we found a great Indian restaurant between the Hooters, Hard Rock, and Dunkin Donuts.

Honest question, how does good butter chicken measure up against your takeout place in Joliet?

It doesn’t.

But as Indian food goes, pretty good.

Given the choice though, grab some Chicken N Spice.

Given a better choice, go to Rip’s.

Ah. I miss Rip's. Loved going there with a group and waiting 3 hours in line. By the time we got to our table, we would be hammered. Maybe that's part of why their chicken is so good.
