If that indeed becomes the show, I think it's far more likely that Mac just quits again or takes extended breaks at this point in his career than gets violent. Even during the days of transition, it was Spiegel who'd always want to escalate arguments with Bernstein while Mac would just want to dip when they were pissing him off (e.g., when Chicago lost the Olympics and Terry and Dan were making fun of his sadness about it).
