Certainly different animals.

Most of you know how I feel about this topic as it relates to me and Mike.

KS is right, that is pretty much what Mike said.

i would imagine you could remove the "to cancer" and the statement is just as true.

From what I remember of him, Mike makes enough idiotic statements without having to make stuff up...

Speaking of changing words. I can admit I may have misheard A WORD but no way in the fucking world did Mike North say this!

"Losing a kid to cancer has got to be devastating, and no matter what the doctors tell you, you have to do everything possible and explore and exhaust every avenue available in the hope of somehow finding a miracle."

I don't even think Mike North is capable of such a sentence or even an extended thought of this nature and complexity.

Exhaust? Avenues? Used in the context here? North isn't capable of that kind of language usage. No way. The first quote is much more in character.

Unless he heard this from some vet when Licorice was in trouble.

Spit take, even if the factuality of the quotation is questionable.

I would like bring into question the integrity of Keeping Score for intentionally creating a Mike North quote.

This was not an honest mistake or a misheard word, this was an attempt to falsely say that Mike North said something intelligent and relevant.

Maybe a Mike North lawsuit is coming your way, you fucking liar. you make me sick.[/i]

I just dont get KS's love for Mike.

Mike is stupid, KS is not.
Mike knows nothing about basketball, KS does
Mike is racist, KS has much love for the brothers
Mike does not know how to use a computer, KS does.

etc, etc.

I did not hear the segment in question, so I have absolutely no opinion on who's lying or fabricating quotes here; however, I must say I find it amusing that we have a guy who's paid over $1 million a year to be a communicator on morning drive in the Chicago radio market and a good number of people here don't even think him capable of uttering a phrase as sophisticated as "exhaust every avenue available." That speaks volumes. Kind of funny; kind of sad.
