Parkins and his lady are doing fine. They are Dinks.

Why would Parkins be making more than Bernstein? He came from a mid-size market to his apparent dream job. I doubt he had hand in his first contract negotiation. I also doubt Mac’s salary is that high in the current radio climate. Was there a bidding war that I am unaware of?

I don't think Goff or Speigs were at $150,000, honestly. Parkins was a main draw for his KC radio station before he was poached to come to Chicago. He was the type of talent that radio stations chase. Goff and Speigs aren't on that level. Goff and Speigel are the guys you put on a show when the main guy makes a little too much for your budget.
