So the tariffs are getting the bulk of the media's attention when it comes to bad Trump decisions, but the big summit between Trump and video game executives was yesterday as well.

Quote:
“ I’m hearing more and more people say the level of violence on video games is really shaping young people’s thoughts,” Trump said.

I thought we learned from Tipper Gore 25 years ago how stupid this was.

Everything old is new again.

From TV to bad political thoughts.

Yep. WWE Studios is remaking it for the Network.

Triple H as Judge Harry
Fandango as Dan
Luke Gallows as Bull
Apollo Crews as Mac
Mandy Rose as Christine
Titus O'Neil as Roz

Trump is basically a bad guy from a 1980s movie.

I'll continue to contend that video games have no impact on gun violence in this country until shooters are found vigorously teabagging their victims.

I think it does. How much of an impact? I'm not sure.

When I was young, probably before you were born, Ozzy Osbourne was accused of causing kids to commit suicide. And we were told that KISS was satanic (not just crappy). Tipper Gore told us bad words caused violence.
It's all bullshit dude.

I'd argue statistically insignificant. People play these games everywhere around the world. Yet we are the only country that seems to be affected by them to the point that people are shooting up schools. I don't buy it.

We have a very violent culture. I used believe that music lyrics, movies, video games and other stuff had no impact on our behavior. I've evolved in recent years.

You play video games and listen to all that music and watch those movies. Do you ever feel irrationally violent?

It has influenced me. It hasn't made me go out and kill people but I can see how it could make some do MANY horrible things.

We all are susceptible to these things. Everything we consume regularly influences us. To what degree? It depends on the person.
