The fact that they basically made him the #2 at the station does not bode well for the future of The Score IMO. I am rooting like hell for him to fail.

He's their best hire in decades.

Agreed. Not sure what HFN is huffing this early in the morning.

I sometimes wonder if some of these posters actually listen.

It's hard to dislike Parkins. He may look like a goof, but the guy is solid, passionate, and well spoken.

He doesn't look like a goof; he looks like he's on the list for a 'Make a Wish' visit from John Cena.

I like him on the airwaves, but I know he would have been someone I would have hated through college or life after. He's a degenerate gambler, and I have a hard time trusting those types. Not that I don't gamble, but the way he talks about spreads constantly just comes across as slimy.

Plus, after sports, his knowledge decreases immensely. He's young, so he hasn't experienced much, and maybe having Mac around will force him to branch out. Goff didn't know anything either, but he just tried to be Senor Junior. Parkins definitely is a worker, and I think he would actually work on the areas he is lacking.

I want to know more about this party Parkins had.

A farewell party for people who didn't know they were leaving is hilarious.

Goff said he found out Friday, so I would assume everybody else knew Friday as well.

Well that had to put a damper on the festivities.

I think Matty found out after the Monday show.

Oh lord, the website that picture is from, whoever has such an elaborate website for their wedding is deeply disturbed (and stupidly rich probably).

Holy shit! That wedding was a true Giant NostrilFest!

Impressive nostril action being flexed there. Seriously.

Haha. I was checking out the wedding website as well. Nauseating. The poor bastard groom looks like he's 5-years away from pulling a Chris Benoit.

Slow your roll, Parkins is highly competent. The only thing that he has working against him is the occasional vocal fry, but I let it slide.

For the record, anyone who uses both "slow your roll" and "vocal fry" in the same sentence can also eat my ass.

Parkins swears that he found out Monday and the party was a coincidence.

That does seem fishy.

I agree with SuperMario. Parkins has proven to be a good host, but he definitely has a Senior Junior vibe and I would be wary of trusting him.

You could've at least done a quick parody of 'Once In A Lifetime'.

One. I'm assuming that picture was taken along time ago before he and the wife met?
