Not at all. LA isn't a guy that you want to have a sports debate with. He's thin skinned and he hates opposing views.

He doesn't post here. We would run him off the board within a day. Think of the poster you absolutely hate having a discussion with about anything and multiply that by 10. That's LA.

Sounds like he should have lasted longer at the Score.

Atkins finally responded and they went back and forth for a bit. He called him an internet troll at one point, even though Kier was very respectful throughout their exchange.

So who is LA again?

Former producer at the SCORE in the early 2000s? Said he took Jason under his wing. What show did he produce?

When a social issue comes up, I don't mind Goff or anybody else commenting. It's the other stuff where Goff would inject race out of nowhere that was the problem. But more than that it was the constant laughing and interrupting co hosts or guests. That had nothing to do with Jason being black. That was just a flaw of his. It wouldn't be good radio if a white or Latino did that.

So the consensus is that Spiegel gets a fifth chance on The Score but Goff won't get a second chance on The Score?

Actually it would be a 3rd chance for Goff. Don't tell me you forgot his middays with Spiegs. Also how many chances did Abbattacola get again?

How do you figure this is Speigel's fifth chance? So far your debating tactics have been make things up, project racism, omit facts and claim the other side isn't arguing correctly. Goff was a terrible radio host who did not care about what his audience wanted to hear. Tough way to be successful.

Was Bernstein demoted?

4 partners. None of the shows worked enough to stick around while two partners got promoted. He was replaced by Connor McKnight. At least Goff was replaced by two guys who are nearly universally considered great.

Spiegel and Mac was a success right?
Spiegel and Mannelly I pretty much blocked from my memory.
Spiegel and Goff was a success I think.
Spiegel and Perkins was too.

I would hardly say Spiegs would be getting a fifth chance as if he's failed 4 other times. Maybe once with the punter.

JLN has already made a strong case that it was Spiegel who got the shaft with these moves, not Jason or bernstein.

Well Goff was tied for number 1 in his timeslot 6 months ago too and before that was good enough to get promoted to afternoons over Spiegel.

Why is everyone making excuses for Spiegel? What is the case he is more deserving of another spot? Everyone thinks Parkins is a future star. The fact that the last show was doing well is on Spiegel?

I agree it was a demotion, but on the other hand, North and Jiggetts were considered bigger than the HFC and I don’t recall whether there was a feeling they should have switched time slots.

Listening to the milquetoasty new midday show has me pining for Spiegs. He's a much more enjoyable listen.

Maybe it’s just as simple as one host has never encouraged the audience to listen to the competition while the other one has . Remember all those commercial free hours on Spiegs and _______ ?
