He sure is. I like him. He has feel to hit. Think Michael Conforto.

Potential 1-1 RHP Ethan Hankins left his start early on Saturday with shoulder soreness. It’s being reported that there is no tear in the shoulder and it’s just a muscle issue. He should be good to go in a couple weeks. Hankins left the start after 15 pitches as his velocity was way down.

Oregon St 2B Nick Madrigal fractured his hand sliding into home and will miss 4-6 weeks.

Kentucky 1B TJ Collet has already hit 5 home runs. Collet has as much raw as anyone in the draft and it's good to see him finally tapping into it.

HS RHP Cole Winn was 90-95 t96 in his first start. Winn is a high SPIN RATE! guy.

Likely first rounders RHP Mason Denaburg and RHP Carter Stewart faced off against each other in front of a million scouts and did not disappoint.

Stewart sat 92-94 t95 and his plus plus disgusting unfair hammer curveball was 80-83. 5 IP 2 H 0 ER 0 BB 13 K's

Auburn RHP Casey Mize threw a no hitter on Friday. Mize was already shooting up draft boards because of his mid 90's fastball and disappearing split. 9 IP 0 H 0 ER 0 BB 13 K's

Ole Miss LHP Ryan Rolison is also moving up draft boards because of his high floor and advanced feel to pitch. His fastball sits 91-94 and the slider is 81-83. 7 IP 6 H 2 ER 3 BB 8 K

Casey Mize was his usual dominating self last night with his fastball sitting 92-95 t96 his slider 85-87 and disappearing split 84-86. 9 IP 5 H 1 ER 0 BB 9 K

For the season he's pitched 63 innings and has 86 K's to only 4 BB. That's....that's pretty damn impressive.

He should be but there are a couple stat driven teams who pick late that may take him. I hope they do.

I saw your guy went 4-5 yesterday with 2 homeruns and a double. Love his swing.

He’s really starting to hit. He started out slow and there were reports that he looked bored and uninterested which is easy to say when a guys not hitting. If he falls out of the top 10 someone is going to get a steal.

Potential 1st rounder RHP Mike Vasil left todays start with an elbow injury and is expected to miss at least 2-3 weeks. Sounds like he dodged a bullet.

HS OF Jordyn Adams is roaring up draft boards. Coming into the season Adams was considered unsignable because of a strong commitment to play WR at North Carolina but he has been absolutely tearing the cover off the ball this spring and could be drafted high enough to bypass his college commitment. The 6'2" 180 Adams has 5 tool potential.

KLaw went to Kenosha to see Kelenic today. I thought it would get rained out but it sounds like they got it in. I’m anxiously waiting on the report. The Sox draft pick hangs in the balance!

It’s because he’s either been playing in the snow or indoors. Both are tough looks.

Well obviously you want Mize but he’s not going to be there. I’d be more than happy with Singer. I’m out on McClanahan and Madrigal.

KLaw did his first mock draft today and he has the Sox taking C Joey Bart from Georgia Tech. Bart is racing up draft boards but that pick would be a surprise. If they're going college bat and Bohm is gone (though I've heard there's make up issues there) I like India or Swaggerty better.

He has the Cubs taking HS RHP Grayson Rodriguez. He's a big ole hoss with a power arm and a decent chance to remain a starter.

Casey Mize continues to prove he’s the best player in this draft by absolutely dominating Vandy tonight. 9 IP 4 H 1 ER 0 BB 15 K
