Bernstein thinks Goff fucked things up for him. He'll never admit it.

Bernstein was rolling for 15 years years with Boers. Doing his Bernstein thing with the old man. Never challenged by management. Then Goff comes around doing the Bernstein thing but not the way Bernstein wanted it done. Finally management stepped in. To fire Goff, yes, but to also look closer at Bernstein. Knock him down a little bit and put him on notice.

Bernstein survives, but gets demoted. And now he has to change his evil ways. Because he knows the spot light is on him. There's a target on him. He never felt vulnerable in all his years with Boers. Now he does.

Bernstein used to run the SCORE. Like Tony Saprano used to run Jersey. Not anymore.

Bernstein didn't want to go down this way. Not with Goff being the dominate voice on the show.

It's a new day at 670.

I don't get Spiegel getting fired for McNight. Spiegel is better and the pairing of "Bernstein and Spiegel" would have been better because Spiegel would have challenged him. We've seen it in tranny for years.

They gave Bernstein another "Echo Chamber" guy. Just with less of the alpha male characteristics that Goff had. He won't be as loud and laughy as Goff. He'll defer to the great one instead of talking over him.

He'll let Bernstein say the Bernstein thing. Where as Goff interrupted Bernstein to say the Bernstein thing. That's the best way to put the difference. And the race talk stuff, obviously

Bernstein does resume his old role of being the only voice at the SCORE for black people. He hated that Goff took that away from him. He thought he was more equipped than Goff to speak on black issues. While Goff experienced it, Bernstein was more well read on such issues. Which is more important in Bernstein's mind.
