You access newspapers from the nineteenth century. They're pretty funny--especially the small-town ones.

My parents took me to a play about this in my youth. It's a great story.

The ever popular White Sox, from the Chicago Eagle, June 4th, 1910. They even mention Spaulding at the bottom. Looks like this was before they moved into Comiskey, which opened later that year.
