Anyone think it may be a bad idea to steal the Axelrod interview from B&B?

Not one of you thought that may look bad, smell bad, and just overall create an atmosphere in which you are hated by even more people than before. If this is what working at WGN teaches you about shitting on your co workers Buchman, you need to learn a thing or two about etiquitte.

This is already being debated in the B&B section what jag offs you all are, but I just wanted to make sure everyone, mainly ROCK, will read and pass on to Mike what a dickhead move this way.

They're just going to play the "Hey, he was all over the airwaves" card. That may be true guys, but the fact remains, Drinky booked him for B&B YESTERDAY!! Do any of you dickwads understand the meaning of the words "professional courtesy"? Of course not! This is so bush league, and if the roles were reversed, we all know North would be roaming the halls of the Score like a lunatic. I just read on another site that B and B have Kendra Davis booked for 5 today. In my opinion that is the much better interview. I'd much rather hear raw emotion from a crazed woman.

Good they're getting Kendra on. I just tuned in. What did they say about the North team screwing them like that? What an asshole move on North's part. Way to step up for B&B and Drinky by getting Kendra.

Here's a thought I think sounds possible. Drinky books the guest yesterday and then after Score "management" gets wind of it they decide to move the interview to the North show to help his crap ratings and appease his inflated ego. B&B were told it was a management decision and they'd need to find a new guest (Kendra). Now we'll have to listen to promos of North's interview for the next 6 months and his ratings will still suck.

If this was a circumstance of trading Kendra for Axelrod then thats fine with me. However, I think that both interviews could have easily stayed with B&B. Drinky did the leg work of getting the interviews, let his boys take the credit for it.

I'm listening to the Davis interview now and B&B ended up with the better of the two interviews anyways. Good for them, they deserve it. I'm glad they asked her some of the tougher questions.

Credit? You think booking two idiots who had a verbal squabble in the stands deserves CREDIT? How about dishing some considerable SCORN to the alcoholic, to North, B&B and the rest for again taking talk radio into the irrelevant world of he said/she said NON-SPORTS talk? I am thinking about all the sports fans who worked all day at the office and they get in the car at 5 pm on Friday thinking about the weekend's NFL championship games, the Big Ten hoops games, the Bulls games and all the rest.... and the first thing they hear is a nutcase athletes wife talking about her squabble in the stands with some rich, connected dweeb. Not. That sound you heard at 5 pm was a bunch of radios being tuned away from the Snore.

I don't know what you mean by "hiding". I travel a lot and lately have been signing in from various computers while my laptop is in the shop. Send me an email and explain what you mean.

In defense of the topic, once a topic like this gets rolling, it seemed as though people just kept calling and wanting to have their opinion heard. If I am a radio host, there is no way I stop the topic if it is generating calls and heated debate on both sides of the issue.

Having said that, I agree that we shouldnt be celebrating bad behavior by fans/players/family of the players, which continuing to talk about this does. Hopefully it does die down, because I know hearing it for the last two days has been enough for me.

As far as congrats to Drinky, whether the move is a popular one or not, he got the people in question on the show and thats his job. If Buchman knew how to do that maybe the North show would once again be listenable.
