Battletech is being released . A KS that is being released complete and on time. I played the Beta and it looks fucking fantastic. I did not pledge to play in the Alpha so I do not know how the multi player is but what I have played is awesome.

Yes,turn based like the board game. Has both a story driven campaign as well as multiplayer. the first person game MW 5 is coming later this year.

One of the greatest games ever made, Worms Armageddon was also a turn based strategy game.

Just checked, the free to play release was 2018. Thus the recent craze. iOS is invite only still.

Still counts as a 2017 game. Many games go F2P at a later date. Evolve was another big one. They don't get to re-enter GOTY just because they figure out how to make a popular game after. (Solution: copy PUBG)

And if it was based off of popularity, DOTA, LOL and CS:GO would have won each of the last 6 years or so.

Hoo boy is that first mission after the tutorial a pain in the ass. Mech needed 47 days of repairs after that one.

Ha that mission must have been bugged for me because I had no other mechs with me, oh well.

Game is good, buggy and needing some optimization, but good. It made me finally break down and buy an SSD.

I just spent playing it 26 hours straight. I found out the trick to doing the Argo mission easy. Only bad thing is I need a heavy man .
