Offensive line would be weak. It'd have to be the focal point of the rest of the draft. The defense would be in pain too. But MAN...(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will be in the ultimate position to succeed.

For those who say NO WAY to that deal from the Giants perspective.

The money is such a huge factor. The Giants get two more years of rookie deal Howard plus would spend less on their first round pick. The Bears get absolutely hosed on the money side of it. It'd almost be like giving up a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

And not only is Howard MUCH cheaper going forward than Beckham. Howard is young, healthier and recently more productive. Howard is by all accounts a model citizen too. Bears assume a ton of risk in this deal.

I'm on board simply because the Bears replace Howard with Barkley. If they weren't getting that kind of quality replacement I lose interest fast.
