I was at an indie show many moons ago, and Daivari was in a tag match that had two memorable spots ... the first was Angel throwing a chair at an opponent only he had bad aim and blasted a fan in the face (bit of a match stoppage for a minute or two after that one) and Daivari set up for a flying leg drop off the top turnbuckle, but then climbed down, stomped on the guy waiting for the bump, ducked out of the ring, pulled a rug out from under the ring, and then did the flying legdrop while holding the rug under himself (as best he could) not entirely unlike Sabu's similar spot albeit with a chair.

So, that's enough talk of those two for the day.

IIRC, the main event was supposed to be Justin Credible vs someone, but somehow or another it was kayfabe turned into a tag match and his partner was an unadvertised CM Punk.

No titles changed hands at the Greatest Royal Rumble and Stroman won the match.

I have this question and probably should have been asked before the event, I imagine the wrestlers here may have gotten some extra money and probably didn't want cause a stir, none of the women were allowed to wrestle and also now coming out Sami Zayn couldn't do this because of his Syrian roots, I just wonder if the wrestlers thought about not going because of all this.

I heard the women got a nice pay day to stay home & watch it, plus they got to main event Raw & Smackdown. They probably spun it to them to make things seem ok. No way Vince passes on a $20m payday. Plus a large portion of the roster got to stay home, so he saved on travel expenses.

As for Sami, they could've passed him off as Irish & the Saudis probably wouldn't have noticed.

The All In show, fully funded by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, had tickets go on sale today for September 1st at the Sears Center. They sold out over 10,000 tickets in 53 minutes.

In NXT, just wondering where there going with Ciampa-Gargano feud, figured their last match would be it, but now getting another one, I would have understood if Ciampa won the last match, then have Gargano move up to main roster, but Gargano won, figured that would be the end, but it's not.

Smackdown will be moving to Fox in October of 2019 in a 5 year deal reportedly worth a billion dollars.

The Mauro Ranalo documentary "Bipolar Rock N' Roller" is amazing. Goes through his struggle in unbelievable detail. It's frightening to watch at times.
