That is one of the easiest schedules I've ever seen. They will lose 56-0 to the Patriots (again) but other than that even the moribund Bears should be in most of these games.

Lions will go 0 for in the division and Patricia will be one-and-done. So that's 2 wins for the Bear.

Only one division game in the first 8 games. That's opening day. So 7 straight games against non division opponents.

Then 5 division opponents in the last 8 games.

That's weird.

And we play the entire AFC east in 4 straight weeks. That's also weird. Something tells me the schedule ain't right. He got it wrong.

If he didn't, it's strange how the NFL did this schedule. Maybe they're loading up the division games in the 2nd half for all the teams. Maybe they determined that's better for the league.

Bears didn't play on thanksgiving last year.

but they really pissed the bed in not having @mia and @ari in the second half of the season. Those become automatic sellouts for those teams and a big weekend for the travel industry with people from Chicago. That's probably not true for games in Sep-Oct.

I'm really down on this team after that shitshow free agency but its hard to find a realistic path to them being lower than .500. They play the Patriots and that's about it. Nobody else on this schedule scares me at all.

Even if they win 2 games all year they'll win week 1 and get everyone's hopes up.

Brad Biggs confirmed that this guy got 3 of them correct. So maybe it is accurate. Just seems like an odd schedule to me.

Smart that they put the Bears on national games before it becomes obvious they suck.

They always do that ever since they started sucking.

They still want that Bears game cuz the Bears do good numbers. Like you say, the plan is to get them out of the way before they are 0-5 and then the numbers would drop.

For the past 10 or 15 years, always one Bears-Packers game is a night game.

0-2 start, 7-5 possibly 8-5 at one point, then the season ends with losses. 7-9 or 8-8.

I too was disappointed to see no Arizona or Miami in December. SF would be up for consideration except it's too close to Christmas.

Also I don't see a Thursday night game for the Bears? I thought every team plays one Thursday night game, even those that play Thanksgiving day?

I am fairly convinced they'll win week 1 because it is a very Bears-like game to win and a very Packers-like game to lose (aka its not really as important as people make it out to be).
They'll beat shitty Detroit with their retard coach twice.
Jets, Buccaneers, Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals, Dolphins and Giants are all total garbage no better than the Bears. Bears should go .500 against this slate of garbage, though it wont surprise me if they dont.
They might beat one of the Rams or Bills, both aren't that great. This would require luck I wouldn't bet on it.
The Patriots are their only guaranteed loss.
The Vikings could easily have nothing to play for week 17.

The Bears are ass and did very little to make themselves less ass this offseason...but they play NOBODY other than New England. I dont think I have ever seen an easier schedule, its a who's who of mediocre shit teams.

Looks like the Falcons and Saints each have two Thursday night games while the Bears and Lions have none. Odd....

Pats, Rams, GB, Minn, and SF should clearly be better. Outside of that it does seem like a pretty easy schedule.

Fox taking over broadcasting Thurs night night football, maybe demanded a better slate of games for Thurs nights. Tho the first two games don't seem to fit that narrative:

Here's the Thursday night slate of games (all times Eastern):

Week 2, Sept. 13: Ravens at Bengals, 8:20 p.m., NFL Network
Week 3, Sept. 20: Jets at Browns, 8:20 p.m., NFL Network
Week 4, Sept. 27: Vikings at Rams, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 5, Oct. 4: Colts at Patriots, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 6, Oct. 11: Eagles at Giants, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 7, Oct. 18: Broncos at Cardinals, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 8, Oct. 25: Dolphins at Texans, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 9, Nov. 1: Raiders at 49ers, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 10, Nov. 8: Panthers at Steelers, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 11, Nov. 15: Packers at Seahawks, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 13, Nov. 29: Saints at Cowboys, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 14, Dec. 6: Jaguars at Titans, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 15, Dec. 13: Chargers at Chiefs, 8:20 p.m, FOX/NFL Network
Week 15, (Saturday) Dec. 15: Texans at Jets, 4:30 p.m., NFL Network
Week 15, (Saturday) Dec. 15: Browns at Broncos, 4:30 p.m., NFL Network
