Didn't see a link. Do they stay 8th or trade up or down? Who do they end up with in the 1st round? Who do you want to see them pick?

If Nelson is available, I take him. If he is gone and Fitzpatrick or Smith is there, take one of them. If all 3 are gone, gotta trade down maybe to 12 but not to low. Gotta get an impact player, and hopefully not some project.

Word is around that the niners and raiders both love roquan smith so I am anticipating a trade there. That would be fine by me if they traded down to 10 and still got a guy like Ward

Even better would be a second trade down from 10 with a team in love with Lamar jackaon

If they stay at 8.. Chubb, Smith, Nelson and Edmunds are my choices if they're available there. I don't like any of the other names I've seen/heard at that spot associated with the Bears. And as is, I think Nelson value wise is a poor choice there too but I can't hate it either as I expect he'll be a pretty good player. He may be the closest guarantee to be good of the names I have here. But his position has good value later in the draft while some of the players at the positions like edge rusher, have better value the earlier you can get them.

I would prefer the Bears find a trade back tho and land a player like Ridley -a need, and a solid value the later he can be grabbed. Pace needs more picks in those early rounds to add more talent to this team, and possibly build the O-line where there should be good interior linemen value in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Pace better not trade down then take projects like Shaheen in the 2nd round. Stick with guys with high floors instead of swinging and missing.
