Fuck man. Someone please have compassion and tell me why I should have optimism regRding GB trading down and then trading back up to draft a midget CB.

Help me out Doc and gd.

That’s a good first encouraging sign considering you think the steal of the draft so far was a bad pick for the Bears.

They moved down 4 spots, gave up a 3rd and gained a 1st. I know nothing about Javier but the talking heads seem to like him fwiw. I’m less concerned about height since they picked King last year. Most teams don’t have 2 tall WRs.

But King kinda sucks too so far, I guess maybe he will be alright.

I think this is about as bad as the first round could have possibly gone for them. I’m extremely cynical on this. I hope I’m wrong and they make some moves that are better in the coming days. Not much else to say. They draft DBs very high often and they are always busts. Good luck Jaire.

I think he'll be pretty good. He's closer to 5'11" with great speed and good cover skills. He actually played some decent football on the field so he isn't a complete "potential" guy. And he's got return skills.

If they were locked in on CB, that's the best guy they were going to get there and they were able to play that into an extra 1st rounder.

Kevin White will hand his ass to him, though.

As someone who doesn’t know anything about these guys, I have an issue with the position more than the player.

They have proven repeatedly they either can’t evaluate DBs or can’t develop them. Doesn’t matter which is the issue at this point. Stop drafting them high and go for a position your staff is actually worth a fuck at developing at.

They’re idiots. Congrats Minnesota, the division is yours unless Rodgers reverts back to 2010-2014 form after another injury.

There’s not a doubt in my mind Mike Hughes is gonna be a better pro than Alexander.

This guy does everything you want a corner to do. He has top speed for man coverage, closing speed and quickness for zone, he tackles like a man, he strips the ball, he picks the ball and doesn't drop it, he can return picks and punts and after he does all that he is going to make damn sure to let you know about it. He looks so much better than the pussies GB drafted under TT.

He does everything you want him to do except guard WRs over 6 feet tall' aka 85% of them

Return skills have limited value since they moved the kick-off? Plus the possibility of eliminating kickoffs in the near future.

Some talk of the NFL banning 3 point stances for linemen (or anyone); that might make picking a 6'9" lineman who can't bend over more palatable.

can't help you. He sucks and so do the Packers. You do to but we'll save that for a day where I think you can handle the criticism better.
