Martavis Bryant to the RAIDERS for a 3rd.

Except they drafted a midget that’s gonna get owned by any big WR and that’s before taking into account we draft DBs high constantly and they almost always suck or underperform at best.

This is horrible start to the draft.

That’s all true but the “we’ve missed at that position in the past” logic is irrelevant. They need to fix the position and it’s a different GM. I’m not saying I agree with what they did but I also admit to knowing nothing about the guy they drafted. However if you read his pre-draft profile he sounds pretty solid except for injuries. He’s also listed at 5’-11” and has a 35”vertical so I don’t know if he’s particularly short for the position. (Also a 4.38 40 which they can use).

But that GM came from within the same organization that can’t evaluate and/or develop CBs. It’s not irrelevant at all.

If Lamar Jackson's still on the board when the Jaguars pick, they'd be fools not to take him

Amari/Jordy/Martavis.

Nice.

It is because it’s a small sample size and they’ve actually had some success...it just doesn’t feel that way. The inconsistent pass rush and poor inside LB play make the secondary look worse than it is. Ignoring the now gaping hole and filling it with late picks won’t help.

I dunno man. So yeah even if they have some success with this pick their holes otherwhere will negate it.

There’s no reason to be optimistic about this outside of “well shit hopefully he’s an all pro because any first rounder could be”. All tangential signs point to this being an underwhelming pick at very best.

And Amari kinda sucks. He has 3 good games and 13 bad ones a year.

But yeah Martavis might be great.

Hyperbolic drivel.

Jordy and Derek Carr will be dialed in. Amari bulked up too much last year. Move him inside and watch him go.

They could maybe work something with Seattle if Atlanta doesn't take him.

Because I'm sure the Steelers would take Ridley now.

Amari is trash. He’s not a good football player. You might be right about Jordy and I hope you are. I wish him success.

Nonsense. He was too big and Carr played hurt and shitty. Horrible OC didn't know how to use him.

He'll be back to 1000 yards again.

1000 yards doesn’t mean much. It’s not 1998 old man :D

Falcons and Bears with the steals of the first round. GB with arguably the worst pick of the first round. Rough night.

You dick.

Thought about that after I posted it, but if all 3 receivers get decent touches, plus Jared Cook, 1000 or so yards might be just fine.

Is this the answer to one of those "porn star name" quizzes? Like take the name of your best friend in 3rd grade + the city you would most like to live in.

Seattle with the worst pick of the first round. Penny isn’t a bad player but just not a first round talent. I don’t even think he is a second

Penny will probably have a better pro career than Alexander.

For sure. He’s ok with a lot of talent around him. I just don’t think he’s the star he was drafted to be or people think he is. Crabtree was way better as a Raider imo.
