We did the light poles over at Michael Jordan's restaurant in Oak Brook this past week and weekend, with the weather finally allowing the work to get done and now taking yesterday and today off to play golf in this beautiful weather. Shot a 78 yesterday at Pheasant Run and playing St. Andrews in about an hour. Perfect weather for it. Then back home to watch my FIRST PLACE Chicago Cubs. #LOVINGLIFE

Fall is nothing but a precursor to winter. Days get shorter...everything starts to die. Keep it.

And is there really a "spring" anymore? We had a few days in the 70's here.....then back to 50s/60s and now today it was 84.

Fall is better dating weather than spring. In fall it's not too cold to still do outdoor stuff but it's also ideal to do indoor stuff. Plus the beauty of a fall day is incomparable. In spring you gotta deal with humidity, mosquitoes, and lawn mowers. No thanks

Not gonna even repost that. LYK is pissed because a consensus is emerging around the superiority of fall over spring. Fall is the only time where all the major sports (football, basketball, baseball, hockey) are played simultaneously. It also signals that the holiday season is just around the corner. World Series, NFL kickoff, Thanksgiving, fantasy football draft, streets are purged of annoying kids who have to go back to school, 55 degree days with that cool air, etc. Best time to be alive.
