They are a jam band, but not in the hippie sense (Phish, Dead, String Cheese Incident, etc.). It is not a crowd full of tie-dyes, dreadlocks, and patchouli. More of a progressive jam band. Some of their main influences are:

Steely Dan
Yes
Frank Zappa
The Police
Talking Heads
Metallica
Iron Maiden

No......... I live in Chicago Heights and do not want to travel all the way to Dekalb. Also.....the Egyptian is a beautiful theatre........ but there will be very little drinking or partying in the venue. I will be going to Summercamp 2008. Check it out:

There were no tapers at this show but the band released it from their sound board. The sound and quality are top notch. Click on the link and then click on VBR M3U to stream the show
