Talking about the shows was what that originally drew me to the board. The number of daily show threads has risen and fallen over the years, but they've pretty much dissappeared at this point.

Goff and Boers were the drivers of content. Plus it's Trump's America now.

I just assumed Trevor Noah wasn't popular around these parts.

SHARK rushing in to start the daily threads at 8am was always good for a chuckle.

MANY times the threads would be multiple pages before the show ever started.

The shows overall are shit and this is primarily a politics board now. Even the talk about the local teams is half-hearted.

A POLITICS section would be nice to lock up all that discussion.

It's amazing what you'll find in the show threads...

Titles are the hardest part.

That seems like so long ago now.

It would be interesting to see what effect that would have. The board has been a tough read lately.

Trying in vain to find the show thread from the end of the 2012 baseball season, which was arguably the point at which the board turned on Senor for good.

I don't recall what that might have been ... would you mind giving an overview?

It was the day after the White Sox finished derping their way out of winning the division, at which point Dan and Jason went blamed the team's lack of resources on poor attendance caused by the fanbase's hatred of blacks and Jews. That was the day we got Jason talking about what goes down at the corner of Division and Chicago.

I am very happy that new management burned down their entire operation to pander to a fanbase that already gave up on them. OOPS probably should've stayed on the course.

show threads are not an indicator of a show's success. M&H is by far the most listened to show on 670 and never has show threads.

There it is. Man, there was a time when they were really in the tank for the White Sox, seems so quaint now.

He did. Just like he once mentioned the intersection of 35th & Stony Island Ave (which would literally be 1/4 to 1/2 mile in Lake Michigan.

Someone got him for the 35th/Stony one on WYC. Division/Chicago only went recognized here. I want to say there was a third installment of Jason Goff's Wild Chicago but I can't remember it offhand.

Holy shit. I remember that--and I think I lurked here at the time (especially at that time), but I don't remember people talking about that.

I do remember thinking, What Jews?
