No--Stony Island is 1600 east, and the lake curves inward.... EDIT--that is, it would be in the lake if it existed

He did. Just like he once mentioned the intersection of 35th & Stony Island Ave (which would literally be 1/4 to 1/2 mile in Lake Michigan.

He made two: Chicago runs parallel to Division, while 35th and Stony Island could only intersect in the lake.

Gotcha, I thought that was the joke. Well Jason is from Evanston, so I suspect his city cred is as weak as mine. But when I saw Division and Chicago, my limited knowledge of city streets had me thinking they ran the same way.
