The Lions not knowing about it is the story.

It's not much of a story. And it's mostly Deadspin saying we care about rape more than the rape-loving Lions.

Don't forget they are the only ones in the whole world going with the child rape angle.

I think the league investigates its people as well.

Here we go again... Yet another source specifically referencing the mistake in Rick's.

https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/05/10/matt- ... indictment

If anything, in this era of intense media competition, it is remarkable that this story didn’t come to light until 2018. The charge is visible on Lexis’s public records database (a point raised by Deadspin’s Diana Moskovitz). Most media companies have a Lexis account, with which one can easily find a lengthy sheet of biographical information on a person, including criminal records. The Lexis criminal record for Patricia contains an apparent error— the charge is listed as “aggravated sexual assault of a child,” which in Texas is defined as aggravated sexual assault of someone who is not older than 17. However, had such a charge been seen, it presumably would have sparked even greater concern for the reader since the alleged crime involved a minor.

Perhaps, I have not yet provided that CBS, Yahoo, SI etc. etc. are not more reliable sources than Rick's favorite shit rag Deadspin but I feel good. Compared with all the other sources they are the outlier. Maybe take your coffee with a better site Rick?

Yeah but the smart move was to walk back the following post:

Yeah. Some sort of sensitivity about the sexual assault of a child.

Doubling down on a 21 year old being a child is just country dumb.

Thank you for acknowledging what the indictment says. I will accept it may have an error.

That's what the indictment said. Maybe it was wrong but it's certainly enough for "Some sort of sensitivity".

"As someone who was falsely accused of this very serious charge over 22 years ago, and never given the opportunity to defend myself and clear my name, I find it incredibly unfair, disappointing, and frustrating that this story would resurface now with the only purpose being to damage my character and reputation," Patricia said in a statement issued late Wednesday by the team. "I firmly maintain my innocence, as I have always done."

He's almost begging for this accuser to come out of hiding and say fuck you you pencil fatty, here's what actually happened that night

None of us know if he's guilty or not but that's definitely the type of statement you release if you're innocent.

this alleged assault/rape took place approx 6 pm on a Friday evening while on Spring break. Neither Patricia nor his fellow alleged rapist/indictee for sexual assault Greg Dietrich could supply any alibi witnesses or other counter-narrative facts sufficient to have the DA drop them from the indictment?
