But how was the food? I'm thinking of taking my wife there for our anniversary.

She'll love it. It's a typical Italian steakhouse. Some of the stuff seems overpriced for Lincolnwood, but most of it is downtown quality at slightly lower prices.

I expect good dolphin, Fritzy, and I to all converge at the bar some night. That night will be a great night.

There are only two examples of infinity: The universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the universe.

I was just talking about this yesterday with a neighborhood guy. He said the food was decent but the prices were downtown level which wouldn't seem to capture the Myron and Phil's crowd. Personally, I'd rather go downtown and enjoy all the circuses if I am paying downtown prices. The place looks nice. We were going to have my mom's birthday there but they said they weren't open on Sundays, which seemed odd to me.

My friend said they do have a nice bar.

I really miss their location down on Fullerton back in the day. You had Stefani's on one side of the block and Via Carducci on the other side. The unique thing about his restaurant was that they would roast you up a full garlic bulb and you could mash the cloves with the oil and parmesan.

Its funny to see places like this trying to charge downtown prices out in the suburbs. There are two places out here in Crystal Lake that are trying it with $15-25 menu items. There's no way in hell I'm playing $15 for a burger in Crystal Lake.
