Why do they continue to put this guy on the air? He is completely horrendous. As soon as I hear his voice I am gone for the rest of the day.

Agreed, his White Sox thoughts are horrible. He wants to keep Abreu and thinks the Sox will be competitive next year.

Neither of those thoughts is outrageous. Troll better.

It was a dumb move for him to go in on Darvish with that article. It wasn't a issue of his toughness, it was just roster logistics. (his DL stint)

Why would you want to keep Abreu? It's a rebuild, not a retirement home. The Sox will not even be .500 next year. What have you seen this year that leads you to believe they will make the playoffs?

Giolotto's 7+ERA?, Moncada's Strike Outs?, T.Anderson's Defense? Burger's XBOX gamers score?, Eloy's AAA Hr's? or Kopech's AAA K's?

Your best player is Davidson and he isn't even a key part of the rebuild.

Stop with that stupid narrative. This weekend was the first time I have viewed your "team" and your rebuild.

You can be in denial all you want but you are atleast 3 years away from making the playoffs and even then you have to have Moncada, Giolitto, Kopech, Lopez, Eroy look like All-Stars.

I like the argument-by-adjective strategy ("It's stupid!") as well as the argument-by-putting-words-in-quotes strategy. I started thinking of other things when I encountered them. For example, I began to think of dinners I would like to make and countries I'd like to visit.

Try that again with number of times I posted in the White Sox forums.

Better yet, compare my post in the White Sox forums to your obsession to posting in the Cubs forum.

Can someone get Thanos to snap his fingers and eliminate White Sox fans?

You will have a lot of free time to think during the playoffs for the next few years.

You didn't talk about numbers or comparisons. You said this was the first time you were viewing the White Sox rebuild. You were clearly proven wrong. Do simple better.

Really needed a mult to make an already demonstrated almost universally accepted assessment.

First time I have seen them play live. Everything I have seen is from ESPN or Baseball Tonight.

Doesn't change the facts I stated earlier.

Glad we agree the rebuild has been a failure so far.

Ugh, no. Haugh speaks only in cliches. There isn't an original thought or comment in his head.

I heard Parkins give credit to Haugh yesterday for confirming Adam Schefters report of the Roquan Smiths signing. They are trying their best to make Haugh look better. It isnt working. Maybe they can have more giveaways and prizes for listening. Usually not a good sign in Radio when they try to bribe the listener. Just my opinion but better content usually gets the listeners to tune in .

Haugh is not a likable person. He could be the most knowledgeable person in the world (he's not) and he'd still be a terrible listen.

I am generally in agreement with you. He is slightly better as a full time host than just filling in (finding himself maybe?), but really tough to listen day to day.

For instance, Mully asked about the Cubs winning the division, and Haugh was saying there are no legitimate challengers left. I wonder if the Cubs had lost on Sunday if he would have said that? I mean honestly, the Cubs had to stage strange comebacks twice this weekend to beat the Nats, and they still have a bunch of injury caused holes in their line-up. My point- Haugh is just a front runner that shifts with the wind.

I noticed they didn't create a new intro (or re-record the old one) for Brad Biggs. Instead, they just overdubbed "Haugh" where "Hanley" was. Pretty lame.

Russ Mitera is still around, as Mac mentioned he was going to work with him on a new parody song “Bote, Bote” set to the tune of “Mony, Mony.”

1. Rick Telander
2. Jay Mariotti

Haugh gets in line behind those two. I'd also argue Mulli is worse than Haugh. Doesn't mean Haugh is good. He's quite bad. There's just been worse.

Mariotti was my favorite columnist and I liked him on Around the Horn. No use for Telander beyond I believe a show he did on CLTV.
