They need to gamble and hope Young is Curry or MPJ is Durant. Get rid of Holiday and Lopez so they don’t win you 4 or 5 extra meaningless games and tell LaVine to enjoy getting his shots in Sacramento or Atlanta. Hopefully that puts them in a better position to win the lottery next summer and then sign Klay.

We’re “playing” for another night like tonight in 2019?

Yep

At 7 i really hope Porter is there. Even if he flops so what. You try and swing for the fences anyway.

Nothing more inept than the "we aren't tanking" "we're tanking" campaign waged by Paxson. That was simply incompetent.

Did management effectively keep portis over mirotic? Or was mirotic a giant penis that had to go? Based on value I didn't like the trade when it happened. It sure looks shot as it stands today

Any chance the Bulls trade up into the top 5?

With what assets? Dunn, Lauri and the two first round picks are the only assets they have.

Thats why i was asking...what would it take to move up? Obviously both first round picks this year ...next years first round pick?

I don't think it takes too much more than the 7th and Portis / Valentine and a bad contract for ... 3rd and a worse contract. After 1 and 2, which neither the Suns nor Kings are trading, there will be a team like the Hawks that isn't in love with Jackson or Bagley or Porter or Young or Bamba and could decide to get 'more assets' and still wind up with one of them.

The Bulls should hope to come home with either Bagley or Porter now.

Hopefully the Magic take Young or Sexton. I’d be fine with any of Bamba/Porter/JJ/Bagley

Well that sucked. Hopefully Young or Bamba slip to us. Don't want Bridges. Don't know enough about Porter.

Mo Bamba is the likeliest bust of the first 8 picks. Avoid. He doesn't rate in today's NBA. How many times must with go down this road with players similar to Biyombo and Thabeet?

• The Kings leapt from No. 7 to No. 2, and it took less than two minutes for representatives from multiple teams to joke about the Suns threatening to select Luka Doncic as a method of leveraging Vlade Divac's (alleged) preference for players from the former Yugoslavia against him. How much might the Kings pay to move up one spot? (The Kings are reportedly fine picking whoever is there, but that didn't stop the jokes.)

• The Kings made that jump only because they lost a "coin flip" (actually a separate drawing) in April with the Bulls. Had that coin flip gone the other way, Chicago owns the four-number combination in question and is picking No. 2.

Bulls should have been picking higher just based on their season results, but management and Hoiberg had no idea what they were doing. But it is increasingly hilarious that they lost the #2 pick, who I think will be the best player in the draft, by 'winning' a coin toss.

Fake News. He's nothing like those guys.

And there's always room for a rim protector in the NBA.

Even Gobert was a liability at times for the Jazz this postseason.

If you're that size, you need to have some more athleticism and be able to score in a few different ways.

In 79 they also lost the damn coin flip for Magic Johnson too. Ended up with David Greenwood instead.

I'm not entirely sold on him either but in addition to having a 7'-2" wingspan I read this...
Here’s a couple of stats that highlight both his versatility and efficiency. Per Basketball-Reference, Bridges is just the fifth NCAA player in the last 25 years to knock down at least 100 3-pointers while shooting better than 50% from the field, 40% from downtown and 85% from the free-throw line over the course of a full season. The only collegian in that exclusive club over the last decade is sharpshooter Buddy Hield.
Bridges is also just the second qualified player to average at least 2.5 made 3-pointers, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. The only other player to accomplish this feat: Shane Battier during his senior season at Duke in 2000-01.

I dunno man. The guy looks like he's playing under water. I don't see him being able to do much more of anything than shoot open jumpers in the NBA.

Gobert was outplayed by Capela but so was Towns. He was a big reason they beat OKC and he has some of the best on-off court splits in the league. He’s a very valuable player.

I’m fine with Bamba. Agree with shakes.

Want nothing to do with Bamba. He can take his 7'9 wingspan and overhyped upside somewhere else. Skinny bigs who aren't overly athletic and lack game struggle in the NBA. He wasn't even that prolific of a shot blocker. Great college shot blockers tended to avg. about 4.5-5 blocks per game as I recall. I hope someone else takes a flyer on him. It is going to be tough for the Bulls to get a good player at 7. It seems like this is a 6 player draft from what I have read. The other guys seem like they will be pieces at best. I hope Porter drops.
