Half of zero is zero. I'm feeling pretty good.

So...this is you admitting you are unemployed? I don't get it.

And let's be real, everyone knows your "fantasy world" is much more centered around young children.

199,964 of those are on the North Shore, so they're good.

That depends, how many Uber passengers can you rip off at $5 a pop before you get booted from the platform?

Well Jules, if you read past the headline you would see the police responded to a call made by the manager, the same manager whom signed complaints for criminal trespass.

I’d like to know two things:

1. How many times has this store called the police for loitering/trespassing, and were some of the offenders non-black?
2. Did the manager (who is allegedly a SJW) know these men? It’s not impossible to imagine a scenario where she gets a kickback from the men when they get a cash settlement.

I wonder what the brown people in Guatemala harvesting beans for 40 cents a day think about this.

Probably that they should be brown people here and get paid 7 figures for loitering would be my guess.

yeah i wonder how enforced this rule regularly is. because listening to the phone call, it doesn't sound racially triggered.

i don't think its absurd to require people coming into your store purchase something before loitering and/or using the facilities. obviously as long as not bias in its execution. i think its a bit nuts to arrest them. just remove them.

DB has a decent job. If you went from ripping off Uber customers $5 at a time to making double what he does....nice work.

It's not in most stores, but Starbucks helped build this empire by letting people sit there for 4 hours on their computers writing shitty screenplays, so...

I'm going to start paying homeless people 5 bucks to sit in Starbucks. Can't wait to see the Mac book shitlibs reactions when "Ass Dan" sits down next to them with summer BO

There's a Starbucks on Canal Street a few blocks north of the Pacific Garden Mission. Hoity-toity upper middle class shopping mall with a Whole Foods, a PetSmart, etc.

That should be a fun scene at 6am when 20-30 patrons of the Mission decide they'd rather sit in Starbucks.

Starbucks just issued a clarification to WSJ that they will not permit sleeping in the stores or drug use...

It sounds like everything else is a go though.

This policy will last 2 weeks before it gets abused so badly they have to completely rescind it and start putting coin slots on the bathrooms.

What a bunch of jack-booted thugs!

I don't see how paying customers at any location who want to sit down and enjoy the items they just purchased are going to be happy about there not being any place to sit because the seats are taken by people who didn't buy anything, have no itention of buying anything, and are just taking up space because Starbucks is afraid of being tattled on for any offense imaginable.

Its not PC to be upset about wanting to enjoy a drink or food without having to sit with people who smell like piss and vomit ( Sox fans) along with the homeless.

Yes but now Toxic Masculinity is going to be at the door with a stack of fives handing out seating assignments to make sure he get's his money's worth.

I believe so.

This seems like a strange overreaction. It's it a common practice to say bathroom only for paying customers?

I believe that the manager of that store was following the policy that Starbucks preached regarding loitering in their places. If that is true, then their Starbucks just follows typical lame ass action to throw a person(the manager) under the bus when pressured. Its pretty much a joke. RACE TRAINING? I hope like hell someone films that session for exposure to the public.

I really do not have a problem with someone just using a bathroom of a "restaurant" but loitering? No way. I think that it is very rude when people park their ass in a seat and do not order anything. Especially when people who want to eat are left to stand and wait. I do not know the specifics of that incident but perhaps some customer complained to the manager? If so, then the manager should have asked the two men to either order something or to please leave to allow others to sit. To me, then, if they refused to leave, then she was correct to call the police. What else should she have done?

I thought you had to at least buy something, even if you just nursed a cup of coffee for three hours.
