Honestly, as a hockey lover how do you hate Ovi? He is the best goal scorer of our generation and has reinvented his game.

Games 5 and 6 vs the Penguins. Epic. Read every play on the forecheck. He is the most dynamic player of our generation and I hope he wins the Cup.

I never understood the Ovi hate either. I actually despise Crosby more than Ovi.

Yeah I am with you. I have enjoyed watching the "crapitals" choke over the years, but have a ton of respect for Ovi and I hope he wins the cup this year

I think the Ovi hate stems from earlier in his career, when it seemed like he was a selfish, one-way player, despite having the weapons of size and strength. Over the last few years, and especially in the Trotz era, he has really upped his defensive game, and hits like a tank.

I've come around on him, and now I hope he gets the Cup he deserves; it has nothing to do with my seething hatred for Vegas.
