In honor of the NBA playoffs starting, I ask this question.

I will form it this way.
Based off of body of work over a career, who is the best active player to never win a title.

I'm not asking who the best player is right now that never has won a title, because I'm pretty sure the unanimous answer to that is Lebron James. I am talking about who has the best resume right now but is lacking an NBA title to match it.

My thought is that it is a race between Kevin Garnett, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash. I would have to go with Garnett.

I think this is an interesting question because Garnett is in a great position to try and change this.

My vote would definitely go to Jason Kidd. I think Dikembe Mutumbo would be in the team picture.

OK, so starting lineup:

F: Kevin Garnett
F: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Dikembe Mutombo
G: Ray Allen
G: Allen Iverson

Coming off the bench: Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Shareef Abdur Rahim(he's down now but had a great almost 10 years), T Mac, Jerry Stackhouse, Paul Pierce, Marcus Camby

My first thought was Garnett, but after further thought I might actually lean towards Allen Iverson.

I'd have the same starters as Vince except definitely Kidd over Allen.

I took Allen as a SG and playing AI as the point guard. :-)
